Wierd question about human pheromones: ...can you smell them from a partner?

I might be embarassing myself but anyways...There is this smell from my fiance that just makes me happy and also aroused...his "natural" smell (not armpit odour or other odour from warm places)...hard to explain but I just like it. Is it his pheromones? Do other women smell it and get the same reaction as I do? Sorry this may be in the wrong section, I'm just nots ure where else to put it. Biology?
