This guy gave me his #.... what do i do?

So this guy I sorta know (my friend had THE BIGGEST crush on him for YEARS, she's over him now i think...) Friend requested me on FB, I accepted cause.... i'm nice? haha not really sure why. well he was on chat one night and my sister and i were being crazy and decided to chat with him (using my account so he thought some of the things she said was me) well then my sister left to do something else but I kept chatting with him, well I had to go and help my mom so i said i would be right back and he said ok, so i left. well I was gone for about 10 minutes, and i came back to see a message from him 'Hey i gotta go but if you have a phone text me... (include his number here)' well I decided i would text him today (about 2 days later) and i got the number wrong.... :S whoops oh well! so should I text him and just say hey or what? Or should we just stick to FB chat? One of the things my sister did was I said hey to him and then she said boo, so it came out hey boo (like I had a nickname for him). so what would you do? I'm actually moving in a couple of months so i'm not looking for a realtionship just maybe some friendly flirting. He's in public school i'm homeschooled (another issue) but he seems nice.... so what would you do? and sooooo sorry thisis so ong!
